Vehicle gear oil is used for the lubrication of transmission, gearbox, reducer and transmission of various vehicles. Vehicle gear oil in the use of performance gradually deteriorated, the replacement of vehicle gear oil is usually used for regular replacement.
The working temperature of vehicle gear oil is not too high, the service life is long, the consumption is small, as long as the new oil is replenished on time, generally can drive (3-5) x 104km. through the nature and role of gear oil, let people pay attention to the selection of gear oil for vehicles.
No water can enter in the vehicle gear oil, otherwise the additives in the oil will be hydrolyzed into hydrochloric acid, causing rust and corrosion of the machine parts and losing the lubricating effect.
Industrial gear oil is made of refined lubricating oil fraction as base oil, adding anti-oxidation, anti-rust and extreme pressure additives, which has good anti-oxidation, anti-rust, anti-emulsification, anti-foaming and extreme pressure anti-wear properties, and can maintain good lubricity under heavy load and shock load. Industrial gear oil is mainly used for industrial equipment closed gear lubrication and open gear lubrication. According to the lubricating performance of gear oil, it is divided into: common gear oil, medium load gear oil and heavy load gear oil.
The composition of industrial gear oil and vehicle gear oil is very similar, but industrial gear oil can not be used in vehicle manual transmission and rear axle transmission, in addition to the extreme pressure performance can not meet the requirements, other thermal oxidation stability, rust, etc. also can not meet the requirements. So the two cannot be mixed.
