Product Overview

-Made from moderately refined cycloalkyl base oil and high-pressure hydrogenated paraffin-based base oil in the right proportion, with the addition of high-quality additive package;

-Take advantage of the moderate aromatic content and high naphthenic content of cycloalkyl transformer oil, its good sludge solubility and anti-gassing properties, and overcome the defects of paraffin-based isomerised dewaxing oil;

-Similar to intermediate transformer oils.

Implementation standards

KI20X transformer oil meets the requirements of the GB2536-2011 standard for I-10°C transformer oil (general purpose) specifications.

Performance features

-Excellent electrical insulation performance, high breakdown voltage, small dielectric loss factor, effectively prevent the discharge phenomenon and power loss under high voltage electric field;

-Good anti-gas performance, effectively prevent air gap discharge, ensure safe operation;

-Strong oil sludge dissolution, to ensure the dissolution of the oil sludge formed during the operation of electrical equipment, to avoid damage to insulation materials and affect the heat transfer. The oil can be used to extend the operating time of transformers;

-Low viscosity, providing effective cooling and heat transfer and low temperature start-up; no sulphur corrosion to transformers;

-Environmentally friendly, does not contain any PCBs.

Storage and protection

Transformer oil is very susceptible to contamination by moisture, various solid particles, fibres and acetylene gas. It is therefore very important that transformer oil is kept dry and clean, that the air in the storage environment does not contain acetylene gas, that storage containers are kept exclusively for this purpose and that they are kept in strict contact with lubricants such as engine oil, hydraulic oil and gear oil.
